Welcome!

The Wayne County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is a local chapter under the North Carolina FOP State Lodge with their office in Cary, NC.  Which is under the Grand Lodge FOP with their office in Nashville, TN.  Wayne County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 62 was founded in 1992.  We serve Wayne, Duplin, Sampson, and Wilson Counties.  We are made up of Active members of local law enforcement including Goldsboro Police, Pikeville Police, Wayne County Sheriff, NC Department of Public Safety (Prisons and Community Corrections), NC General Assembly Police, Walnut Creek Police, Kinston Police, Greene County Sheriff, Stantonsburg Police, Black Creek Police, Mount Olive Police, Fremont Police, Princeton Police, Pine Level Police, and USAF Office of Special Investigation.  We have two types of membership Active and Associate members.

We sponsor several events including Cops and Kids Christmas Shopping Program each year.  In 2006 we sponsored 43 under privileged children.  Each year we do a fundraiser at the Wayne County Agricultural Fair.  We sell ice-cold 20-ounce Pepsi Products (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew, 20-ounce Orange Soda, 16.9-ounce Water and some children's drinks at the Fair.

Each year members participate in local Christmas parades.

We have plans that are in progress to be more involved in many new endeavors to benefit the community.
